The majority of people don’t maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating the right nutrition, thereby causing harm to their health. There are ways to eat healthier to look healthy and free from sickness and diseases. The more you eat healthily the lesser your rate of getting sick, so why not invest in healthy eating? 97% of poor nutrition comes as a result of poverty(not having enough), but there are ways in which resources are managed to eat healthily. For example, if you want your child to grow healthy and strong and you do not have enough money do not give junk food or soft drinks, instead give eggs(either fried or boiled) and nuts(groundnut, tiger nuts, cashew nuts, almond nuts). Always make sure that important nutrients like; protein, vitamins, and carbohydrates are present in the child’s food, this also applies to adults, always make sure you maintain a balanced diet. There are ways to eat healthier:
- Eat foods with high-fibre starchy carbohydrates.

- Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

- Eat more fish including a portion of oily fish.

- Do not skip breakfast.

- Drink a lot of water.

- Eat less salt; not more than 6g a day for adults.
- Cut down on saturated fat and sugar.
- Exercise regularly.
